Hello Fashionistas!
My name is Khiana, I am a curly and curvy plus size
female whom obsesses over plus fashion, faux leather, chevron, beauty, big tote bags and
makeup. I am a plus size enthusiast. I decided to start blogging because I disagree with most fashion ideas and only wearing clothes to "dress your body type." I love
plus size fashion. I am starting this
blog as a personal journal, to give my views, to give advice, and to motivate
others in whatever they may be going through in their lives. I have always had
a sense of style and could tell fashion from a few planets away. I’m very
passionate about style and fashion. I would describe my personal style as
vibrant, colorful and bold. I love prints, faux leather and in some case, form
fitting. I like form fitting, because it shows of my curves very well, but not overboard.
I don’t like my clothes to show every lump and bump. Sometimes I like to step
out of my comfort zone. Being plus size and with my body type, I sometimes am
afraid to wear certain things, not because I can’t, but because I don’t know
how it would look on me. I am growing to step out of my comfort zone.
As a plus size enthusiast and
a plus size female, I know how difficult is it to find something that
fits comfortably and something that doesn't look like a table cloth. I support plus size fashion. Why not? Even though
society rather see us in boot cut jeans, ugly dresses, that look like hospital
gowns, and clothing that will cover up our bodies. Rather than flaunt our
curves. Yes, some of us have lumps, bumps, and some cellulite, but who cares?
We can still flaunt our curves and show off every lump and bump. As a plus size
woman, I strongly feel that we deserve to feel just as sexy as anyone else,
whether the person is short, skinny, tall, or purple. Yes, society looks down
on plus size, we shouldn’t look down on ourselves as well. I say get out there, wear faux leather, spandex, and bodycon dresses. Prove society wrong when they say that "bigger females don't look good in everything." Wear what you feel comfortable in, but I must say, sometimes try to step out of your comfort zone, you may like it.
